However if a parent wishes to take her son's pants down and give him a spanking, that is not illegal. It's called corporal punishment. I know you don't agree so therefore if you have children you don't have to discipline them that way. We did have a case in my state where a minister was arrested for spanking his son. It was a test case and was found not to be abuse. The man was set free and allowed to discipline his child as he wishes unless there are bruises or bleeding. This is what I refer to.
