Prior to the incidents do you not think a simple 'thank you' would have been in order? We didn't get along. I didn't have to do all that work; I didn't want to do all that work; I didn't do all that work because I liked her; I did it because she couldn't do it, and I thought it was the right thing to do. Now, if expecting even one simple thank you over a period of many years is expecting too much then, okay, maybe I am resentful.
