Ms. Gertrude, what can I say. Its a very long story that happened many years ago. In a nut shell: Without my knowledge my wife invited her younger sister to move in with us. We'd been married 3 years and Janet was 26; I was 30. My sister-in-law, Jeanne, was 18. Jeanne and I didn't get along when Janet and I were dating; things got worse after the wedding with Jeanne always stopping by, always inviting herself for dinner. We'd argue and Janet would laugh. Janet suckered me, but I should have known better. I agreed to do all the housework for a year if Jeanne agreed not to visit for a year. That's when they came up with the idea of Jeanne becoming a resident of the house instead of a visitor. Totally took me by surprise. The worst part was when Janet announced, in front of Jeanne, that Jeanne would be in charge of assigning me my chores, and, that Jeanne would inspect and grade my work. Janet laughed and said, "I happen to know that you'll be spending many many weekends scrubbing the kitchen and bathroom floors, and maybe even with a toothbrush!". Jeanne was especially cruel whenever Janet was not around.
