I remember looking up at Kathy and seeing that smug look on her face. I apologized for the language I had used and I apologized for taking her parking place. I also apologized for mentioning that her friends park in front of my house.

Naturally, I thought it best not to mention that she had trespassed onto my property and that that was the only way she could have heard me, and, I never mentioned that in all the years that we were neighbors I had only parked in front of her house once. I then bowed down before Kathy and kissed the inside and outside of both ankles.

I then had to crawl on my hands and knees to the sofa. I knelt upright and apologized to Ms. Shirley and Ms. Kim. I then bowed down and kissed the inside and outside of their ankles. The doorbell rang. Ms. Kim said, "Oh that must be my granddaughter". Ms. Kim then grabbed my hair and said "you might remember my granddaughter; several months ago you gave her a hard time about parking in front of your house."

A young Asian Woman entered the living room; I recognized her right away. She, like her grandmother, was tiny; she had long black hair going all the way down her back. I'm guessing she was about 25. She was very pretty, and I remembered her as assertive, aggressive.

Some months earlier I had suggested to her that she could park up the street and be a lot closer to the trolley which she took to work; it would have saved her about 50 yards walking each way, and, it would have freed-up my parking place. I had been very very polite with her.

So now, still kneeling in the living room, I had to apologize to Suzi and kiss her feet and ankles.

Then Kathy said, "Maybe we should make our way to the kitchen where we can all give his filthy mouth a very thorough washing".
