When disciplining an unruly boy it's essential that he's fully aware of the fate that awaits him. So I always put them to bed at a set time of 8pm.

At 7pm sharp he's taken upstairs and changed into his night attire - a thick terry nappy, tight frilly baby knickers and a short nightie (that doesn't quite cover his bottom), so his nappy and frilly knickers are obvious.

He's then taken back downstairs to sit with his sisters or cousins before kissing each of them goodnight when he's sent to bed.
