Date Posted: 09:12:37 05/21/16 Sat In reply to: Melodie 's message, "sighting" on 11:01:03 05/14/16 Sat I remember being on holiday one time and saw a pushchair next to a table where a family of mother, father and daughter were having a drink. From behind I just assumed it was a baby in the pushchair. As I walked past and saw from the other side, however, I saw that it wasn't a baby at all. Looking really rather glum was a boy of maybe six or seven (a couple of years younger than me at the time). But not only was he secured in a pushchair (in which he only just fitted), but he was wearing a short white summer dress and white knee length socks. I didn't like to stare, but when I walked back past him later it was also apparent that he'd been put back into a nappy and a pair of plain waterproof pants. I wanted to speak to him, but what would you say to a boy who's been dressed like that? I watched his family, who we're carrying on as if the whole thing were quite normal. Maybe it was. Maybe he always wore a dress and nappies. Having suffered the humiliation of being dressed similarly, however, I felt so sorry for him being exposed to the world like that.
