We were sitting outside enjoying a nice Summer day and saw what looked like a Mother and her daughter walking down the Street. What was unusual was that the Daughter looked to be in her teens, but was dressed as a Girl of about 6 years old. The Mother was holding the daughters hand and as they got close, we could see that the Girl was very Embarrassed and had her head hung down to avoid looking at us. As they were walking by, we all said Good day to the Ladies. The Mother said Good day and told her Daughter to be polite and reply to us. The Ladies stopped in front of us, and the Mother let go of her daughters hand. The Girl Curtsied and mumbled Good Day to you also. The Girl did not lift her head much, so we had a hard time to see her face. She than took her Mother's hand and they went on their way. To this day we are not sure if the Youngster was a Teenage Girl being Punished by being made to dress as a 6 year old, or if it was a Teenage Boy who was in Petticoats. My friends and I still think that it was a young Boy being Petticoated by his Mother, and I still dream that it was me, in his place.
