Drinking spooks parents, especially if you used alcohol that your parents purchased. Was there some chance that you might have gone for a drive while under the influence?

All spankings hurt and the social workers know this so they have an objective criterion for a spanking to be abusive: did it leave marks that could be photographed 24 hours later? If it did, then it was too hard.

I personally think that spanking involves an agreement of sorts between parent and son or daughter. The agreement is usually tacit and not written down. This is a long story.

You Jenny might try making a deal with your mother. You promise to improve your behavior when spanked MODERATELY. She promises to only spank MODERATELY.

It is fair but may not interest either party. And it only works if both parties resolve to make it work. If you do give it a try, post here about it. I would find even one case very helpful. For now all I can say is I would have liked the deal.
