Hi Melissa, As we're not teachers I can't tell you of first hand experience.
One second hand story is somewhat the reverse of your situation. A Canadian teacher from north of Duluth. One Sunday, shortly after he started teaching, he took his wife, Ruth, to the school after church. It was a seven classroom school I think and he must have had a key. He took her there for the express purpose of giving her the strap.
There was an issue with her having done something she shouldn't have. She had been strapped in school as well as at home by her school teacher mother and whatever the issue was it was such, had she been at home, she'd have been strapped.
After some talk they decided he'd punish her at the school. Sunday, after church, would be the most private time at the school. He could have brought a strap home but he wanted the experience of doing it in the classroom to better prepare himself, he said, for when he had to give the strap at school.
It always seemed to me to be a set up kink scene between the two of them. It may have been, in part, at least as far as he was concerned. One thing I am quite sure about is it was a proper good strapping, three on each hand.
