Hi Emmie Sue,
As you said, even though you were only 7 or 8, you already had an interest in spanking. I think it's really inexplicable, but interesting, WHERE that comes from. I was like you, in that even before I saw this incident with Audrey, I had a very strong interest in spanking...but really it was just GIRLS being spanked that fascinated me, not boys - guess my heterosexuality had already been established, haha.
When people have asked me since when I first realized I had this interest, my answer was much like that of Dakota Fanning's character in the movie "War of the Worlds" when Tom Cruise's character - her dad - asked her since when she was allergic to peanut butter, and she replied, "BIRTH!"
I think it's equally interesting when someone discovers this proclivity about themselves later in life...like it was something just lying there dormant, and it comes alive when the right stimuli is applied. For example...
When I was first divorced, I went to a number of happy hours with some coworkers; I was the supervisor of two of the ladies, Maggie and Mary Ann; Mary Ann's husband Don always joined us, Maggie was single...not that it matters but just for a visual reference, they were all Hispanic.
One night not long after Maggie was in a new relationship, she suddenly burst out, after a few drinks, "OMG Y'all!!!!!! Have you ever been SPANKED?!!!!" Don and Mary Ann looked a bit confused, I guess not being spankos but certainly having had the "chancla" applied to their backsides as kids...but I pretty much knew where Maggie was coming from. She did explain, this new boyfriend had spanked her and she was ON CLOUD NINE!!!!
