>>I too was tired of all the swing changes. What finally got me was the golf digest book of drills....hundreds and hundreds of drills!!....I didn't even know where to begin to improve my CG golf swing (I was a 26 handicap, had many a lesson, and was still very, very, frustrated).

I committed to NG by buying into the single axis philosophy before I even took my first swing. I knew it made sense...and this helped me stay with the swing even when I was struggling (and you WILL struggle at times).

The swing works....but it is not magical. It still takes time and practice (just not as much time or practice as with a CG swing).....

NG Drills were compact and concise. There are only 4 or 5 drills you really need to master. At least I thought, it finally gives me a plan.....

1) I bought the LOBG Pkg (video & book) and started messing around with the swing.....

2) Took a one day NG school to get more feedback on my swing and to make sure I was doing the drills correctly.

3) Eventually bought a set of NG Clubs (my preference - but not neccessary, as many have had success modifying their existing clubs, or making their own clubs to fit the NG swing).

4) Have had a few followup lessons since - usually to correct bad habits creeping into my swing and/or to confirm I was still on the right path.

I am into my 2nd full summer of the swing (I live in upstate NY, so golf season doesn't last very long here). I currently am a 19 handicap who is getting better (at least now I have a plan AND hope...) I also have two kids so I don't get to practice nearly as much as I'd like....I'm sure I'd be even better if I could get to the range more....but at least now I feel like I will eventually reach my goal (to be a single digit handicap). I'm not nearly as frustated either....as now I almost always know why I hit a bad shot. I know what I need to do - its now just getting my body to do it.

Hope this helps....
