I believe you do not need to know about pushing and pulling to hit a golf ball.

Yes I believe it can. I believe that you automatically pull the club with both left and right arm from the top of the swing. If you push with the right hand you will lose the angle between the leading arm and club too early in the swing, which would cause a loss of distance and many other problems.

Kirk teaches students to hit balls with their right arm only as well as hitting with the left arm only. Todd also does both. You would know this if you had seen both teach in the past. Take some lessons and learn.
