Please excuse my butting in. I'm just curious and confused.

Why would someone that claims they were a police officer call someone a stool pigeon and say that there is nothing worse?

Does that mean if you know of someone doing something wrong now you wouldn't report them? Does it mean that if you knew of illegal activity when you were on the force you ignored it?

If you did nothing wrong, why did you get in trouble?
