Subject: Calhoun Nominated to Hall of Fame

I saw an article in Dave Solomon's column in the New Haven Register this morning that Jim Calhoun was nominated for induction to the Basketball Hall of Fame. The article indicated as a first time nominee, induction this year was unlikely.

Coincidentially, he went to college at AIC which, like the Hall of Fame, is in Springfield, MA.

This is long overdue. I don't like Calhoun as a person but he probably is the best basketball mind ever to come from New England. Can someone please nominate Nolan Richardson next this guy deserves to be in the Hall too! Only Colby Head Coach Dick Whitmore can match Calhoun for longevity and wins in New England.
