Digger Phelps took a shot at Wolff on ESPN after the game for the same thing. No credibility there though???

Wolff is a control freak. A great coach but he doesn't let his players play. If he does BU beats Vermont eight out of 10 times.

I'm shocked and hurt seeing all the reference to Wolff and his constant subbing. I think Al Walker takes the cake for both subbing (both for number of times subs come in a game and number of players used in games) and attempting to control every move every player makes on the floor.

As for the final play of the title game, I'm more surprised Carr was able to slide through the paint and get a real good look on that final jumper. The Catamounts are fortunate the shot didn't fall. Where was the D? Here's hoping BU can pull off an upset in the NIT, and that Vermont can stay within 30 against the "other" 'Cats.

Good thing about Vermont is they play under control and don't turn the ball over much. Those type of teams cause headaches for the top seeds in the tournament. I don't think it will be as much of a blowout as people expect.

Bad thing is that Channing Frye is one of the best defensive big men in college and could give Sheftic and Coppenrath lots of trouble. And Arizona's guards and wings are incredibly athletc.

>>>BU's depth allows Wolff to keep key players from fouling out.BU's aggressive defense accumulates fouls.

When BU played Arizona in December, one the biggest hurdles BU had to overcome was they way the refs (and I assume they will be West Coast refs again in Salt Lake?) protect Luke Walton. Whenever BU's guys touched him, it was a foul, but he could bang into them and it was a no call. When you're from a no name conference (in their opinion), the refs assume you can't cover the "big boys" and they make it hard, therefore, for you to do so. Good luck to UVM -- make us all proud.

Refs for the NCAA Tournament aren't done geographically. They're assigned nationally. The problem you have there is that you have refereeing teams put together a few days before the tournament, and the chance that they've never done games together before.
