The Huskies get their 1st win of the season today.

Game was called after 8 due to torrential rains in Bradenton, FL. NU led 3-2 after 8, Indiana tied it in the top of the 9th before the umps called the game.

Score reverted back to last completed inning.

NU was leading Northern Iowa 3-0 on Monday before the game got called b/c of rain.

Indiana was 10-1 going into the game and was picked 6th by Baseball America in the Big 10. Prior to this game, Indiana beat, among others, BC and Yale.

Junior rights Justin Hedrick went the distance for NU, striking out 10 and walking 2.

Up next for NU is Eastern Kentucky.
