Subject: Japhet McNeil and Marlon Smith

I know this is off-topic, but because I had seen various strings regarding these two high school players earlier this season, I found it interesting. Their teams, Christ the King (McNeil) and Archbishop Molloy (Smith) played yesterday in the NYCCHSAA semi-final. CTK won 60-59 in OT. With the score 60-58, Smith was fouled with 0.2 seconds on the clock. He is an 84% free throw shooter. He missed the first, then tried to hit the second off the back end of the rim hoping for a rebound which could be tipped in, but his free throw went in and the game ended. CTK plays St. Raymond's in the final on Wednesday at Fordham.
