How many warnings, chances do you give before you spank? Is there anything that would be a cause for an Immediate spanking, no warning or 'one more chance'.

My daughter and son know our rules why I spank, of course the child's age comes in to play as we teach them why we spank and our rules from the first time, early age that we start to spank them from. But there are also more immediate spankings when they were very young as we teach them.

I give one warning, these days it's due to their teeness, and if needed with swats to emphasis my warning of next I spank. But there are those behaviors that they don't get a warning, I just spank, such as safety issues, swearing, lying to us, coming in past curfew without a good excuse or previous call. Door slamming, eye roll.

Carter needed to be spanked last night after I had just given him 1 warning that included a few swats, he went to his room and slammed his door.
