What you said is exactly what I was referring to - taking advantage of when the buttocks are up at the highest point, to plant a smack. Obviously they are not intending to do this, but it gives the look as though they are obediently and intentionally sticking their bare bottom up, as if presenting it for the spanking.

There used to be a very active member on this forum named Tessa who had a routine of spanking her teenage kids (I think 2 sons, 1 daughter) over her lap with a short leather strap, while she was seated in "the spanking chair." She required them to "present" their bare bottom before starting the spanking. She once wrote this (verbatim) about her 14 y/o son:

"This was one of those third (or maybe even fourth) strike situations we had covered before -- and he apparently wasn't listening -- so I told him to fetch the strap and spanking chair and meet me in the living room. Much to the satisfaction of the others I stood him in front of me, bared him from the waist down. Soon enough he over my lap with his silky smooth bottom arched obediently upward at its apex and I administered a strapping."
