When my sister or I committed some infraction, mom or dad would point it out and tell us what was wrong. They would then say we'll address this on Friday (the typical night for our family discussions). Btw, these discussions were for other things too such as vacation plans, birthday party plans, church events, etc. they weren't simply to discuss our behavior. So I didn't really dread the meetings but obviously if I thought a spanking was going to happen I just wanted to get it over.

My sister and I were pretty good kids growing up. Most of our spankings were more for character issues (disrespect to adults for example) rather than bad actions. Maybe we were good kids because we were spanked???

How old are your teen daughters? Do you spank them bare? I'm glad my dad doesn't.
