We, (my sister and I) also thanked our mom back in our teens for our spankings and we were grateful for them rather than being grounded even though we hated her spankings, we both knew girls and boys that were spanked or grounded some got both. Our brother didn't thank mom until he was in his 20s, my boys, will be the same as they have not thanked me for spanking them but I know they have complained about their friends that are grounded, just as Jack did with you, so I do know they do prefer me to spank instead of grounding, which I never would any way.

We have had some talks about their spankings and its funny when the few times they have talked with me about them it was out of the blue, once back when they were 8 and 10 and got booster shots for school in their bottoms and I was there, on the way home they started talking about spankings for some reason and how the shot hurt but not near as bad as "mommy's" spankings. Then that went into talk of recent spankings.

Another time was after a spanking I gave the two of them together years ago and they were in a talkative mood and we talked about spankings past, worst ones. They have also asked me many a time why I spank why I spank bare and could I not spank with the brush.
