I have always found the same with the children during our vacations. Even though I've always had to spank, the kids just move on and continue to have fun, especially the younger they are, albeit their (very) sore bottom.

It was the same with Derek and Andy, we all could tell they were still feeling the effects of their spankings well into the vacation. Seeing them wincing when sitting, and rubbing their bottoms often, but the boys dealt with it and it was also clear they had a lot of fun, as well.

Very much the same for the spankings Jennifer and I gave Kathy and Chloe for going into the lake without permission. Both were really serious spankings. The girls did sob and bawl for quite awhile after their spankings, wanting both of us to hold, comfort and cuddle with them (which we were happy to do). But like most little girls (children), it wasn't too long where they were running (mostly) full speed back into the water, now with permission, to play and have full. But now, with their one-piece suit of course not covering much in back, an angry red and well marked backside was well evident. Jennifer and I knew they could certainly feel it still, as we intended, but the girls didn't care. They just wanted to play. It honestly was quite cute. :)

Cherie, I agree with you in regards to those rest stops. The same can be said in regards to some in northern IL. Just the routes in general are quite scenic and beautiful. And as you said, great for spanking outside. The oldest I had to spank any of mine at a rest stop was with my son, when he was 17 yrs old.
