Thank you for your support in the spankings. I agree, they were well deserved. You are right, you want the children to all have a lovely time, but I have never felt that should sacrifice well established rules and good behavior. It's important to remain consistent. As I always told my own when we went on family vacations, and now when taking children under my care on vacation (like with Andy, Derek, etc.), that the rules and expectations on good behavior remain the same as like when we are at home. Just because we are on vacation doesn't mean they don't have a bedtime or can do anything they want. And Mommy will still spank them if it is needed. As I have said, there isn't a vacation I've gone on with the children where I haven't had to spank at least a few times, but we still always have a great time, even the ones with sore bottoms. :)

They were standard spankings with the boys, but yes, both were very thorough. As I have always felt all spankings should be when you need to spank. Oh yes, Andy and Derek were extremely embarrassed, even though as I said, the rest stop was almost empty with how early it was yet. Through their tears, I of course heard pleas not to be spanked, but when they knew that wasn't going to change, I then heard pleas to please wait until we got there. Followed by the "Everyone will see!!" I made certain no one saw, but I am sure the few that were at the rest stop heard what was happening once I started spanking.

I hope you and the family have a great time next week on vacation. Please let us know how it goes, especially if you need to spank.
