Lois,

Where we are still having issues out there with COVID, and now with Monkeypox, I agree, we need to get back some sort of normalcy back in our lives, especially for the children, and just be more careful. Continuing to take vacations periodically is one of those things we need to go back to. But like you said, spankings are a part of vacations with the children, they always have been in my home. I would prefer not to have to spank on vacation at all, but as I have said "vacations and spankings go hand-in-hand", in my experience. The children are more rambunctious, as well as thinking the rules are more lax and they should be able to do more (even though I have that discussion with them on the rules are the same). But keeping consistency is the key, which includes continuing to spank when needed, even while on vacation.

The spankings for Tomas and Stanley were well needed. There has been more than once I have had to spank on vacation for the same thing. I am so glad that the boys were able to move on from that, sore bottoms aside, and enjoy the rest of the vacation. It has always been much the same here.
