SJ Mom,

We really did all have a very good time, thank you. Where spankings have always been part of family vacations (and sometimes quite a few are needed), they never have ruined or even lessened it all that much for the children. They always have had a lot of fun, sore bottom(s) aside.

I do recall you sharing times you've had to do the same with your girls, in giving them warnings (and swats) in the morning to get them moving. I think all of us have gone through that with the children on more than one occasion, especially when we've had to wake them up earlier than normal or if they are not looking forward to why they are getting up (like for school of church). It's something I've had to do with all my children (and other children that I've had under my care), but it's happened more often with the boys.

Chloe was also riding up with us (and on they way back with us), as her mother was not able to make the trip. She was sitting in the back seat where I sat in the front bench seat with both Derek and Andy after their spankings for the remainder of the trip. Although, where they did cry (sob) and apologize for a period of time while I comforted them, the did fall asleep, their heads in my shoulder/chest area, for most of the rest of the trip. I have always found a good spanking for the children really takes the energy out of them. :)
