There were some spankings here that were definitely needed, but I assume all three boys were well aware of the time they needed to be home? Mainly asking in regards to Theo?

I ask this because of this line "the other 2 admitted they knew what time they should have been home & they said nothing to him." So I take it that meant Theo didn't know what time it was (due to he didn't have his phone)?

But even if Theo did know they were late, from reading over your posts, he very much wants to fit in with the family and I am sure he did not want to be 'different' and leave the nephews to go home.

However, I am guessing in the end with your talk with Theo, he made it clear with you and Steve that he wanted to stay, even though knew he had to be home? In the end, it is important he knows he has to obey you and Steve at all times. And if he willingly stayed late, then he deserved to be spanked. But I agree that his spanking was less than your nephews. And not so much because of their ages, as when you get to be teens, the severity doesn't need to differentiate all that much. Meaning, in my experience, a 14 yr old can take a sound spanking just as well as you would give a 16 or 17 yr old. But, I do think peer pressure had a lot to do with Theo's spanking in this case and also it being his first one as well is good reason as well to take it a bit more easy. Either way, he still received a memorable spanking from his perspective! Good for you, and Steve, Margaret.
