I also wanted to give my support for the spanking you needed to give your nephew, it was very well deserved, especially with that bad language! I do love how that sassy attitude and backtalk gets washed away after a good, sound spanking. Works every single time. At least until it's needed again.

I have also heard from the children how "awful" and how much "it hurts!" when they have had to go to church or school soon after a spanking. My children, including with Andy, has always especially hated when I've had to spank them in the morning right before school. Like your nephew, complaining how difficult it is to sit in their chairs, but also that "everyone will know I got spanked!" But I just tell them that maybe they should have thought about that before (the misbehavior that earned them the spanking in the first place). And that earning a spanking, or not earning one, is in their complete control, they just need to learn to behave. Of course they never like that answer.

Has your nephew been your little shadow, wanting his Auntie Margaret's attention? :) Like we have discussed, I do love giving that, as well.
