I am not saying this to be confrontational, There is no way I could ever have spanked sitting in a rocking chair. Cuddling when they were young, yes.

For me since my boys got older and a little taller a high backed wood dining chair is a little to tall a seat it puts my lap at a downward slope and I have to go up on my toes, being 5'5 has its disadvantages :) Regular kitchen chairs the older metal ones that are cushioned work best as a spanking chair for me.

The place I spank the most by far would be my couch. My spankings are predominantly in the living room sitting on the couch, so much so that Bobby laughingly refers to it as "Mommy's spanking couch" it fits me perfectly for spanking, I actually bought it with that in mind, I sat on a few before deciding on the one I have now, its not to soft of to hard to high or too low, but just right :) I can have my feet flat on the floor with my lap flat as well with no adjusting foot placement.

The boys beds are the same way for me as the couch, a good sitting place for me and have them over my lap for a spanking, my bed is way to high for me to sit on and spank. My love seat on the back porch has had its share of hosting spankings as well and fits me perfectly.
