Hello Cecilia

I used a high=backed chair (or at least a dining chair) for the reason you give: it meant I could get my son in the classic position with his nose and toes just off the carpet and his bare bottom high in the air.

When the spanking was over I put my "special" hairbrush away and went to sit on the couch while Jack did all the things a spanked boy has to do.

Before long he would come to me (still bare-bottomed) for a cry and a cuddle, which I saw as an important part of what made spanking work so well with him.
