A rocking chair would soothe a child who has a red hot butt Sarah. We do not have the luxury of a rocking chair here. lol The best we can do is a reclining chair here, which would be good for comforting a child. Maybe not a teenager, depending on how big they are.

I definately got it wrong with a high back chair, for sure you could spank a child in one. What I should have said originally is that we do not have either a highback chair or a rocking chair. My comment should have reflected that Sarah.

Had to give a spanking to Jordan this morning, he woke up all grouchy & wouldn't get out of bed. I gave him a few chances but he didn't react right, so he got a good hand spanking & the hairbrush got involved too. He sure would not have been able to sit comfortably at school today. Lucky he doesn't have PE or sport today. He didn't get corner time this morning & I told him he would have it after school if his manners have not improved by then. He got spanked on his bed, no need for a chair this time!
