I generally will bare the girls by me undoing their skirts or trousers and pulling down their knickers to their ankles where they are told to step out of them. In some ways I feel it puts them in the right mental space for their punishment as it reinforces who is in charge. Then the most commonly used phrase once I’ve done scolding is “right, over my lap”. There has definitely been some resistance over the years but the girls pretty much know if they resist it will only get worse for them. When Molly was around 12 or 13 she tried to run off from me at that point claiming she was too old - she had a 5 minute (or so) spanking, solely to the back of her thighs before I announced that I was going to begin her original punishment. Since then she’s been a lot more cooperative!
