We already know that everything that goes up has to come down. And especially if referring to the pants and underpants that our children put on earlier, since at some point in the day they almost inevitably will end being pulled down. That is not exactly a law of physics, but a fact of life.
Reading throughout the messages and recounts here one can get a more or less clear idea about the procedures in most homes when it comes to the lowering of the pants and underpants of the child who is soon to be spanked.
But what does usually happen next? Once the spanking is over. Do you take the child’s underpants and pants back up to place? Are they told to do it themselves? Or maybe are they allowed to choose to stay naked until later or even the next day?

Here my rule on the matter is very clear: no naughty bottom that has deserved to be punished receives a special treatment. Yes, of course, once the punishment is over the slate is clean and it is not my intention to prolong the consequences of the punishment that the child has received. But, under no circumstances, neither the opposite. If continuing with the activities of the day or going to bed with a red, hot and sore little tail under the underwear, pajamas or any other clothing that the occasion may require turns out to be very uncomfortable, then that is nothing more and nothing less than the price to pay for being naughty. As simple as that.

So answering my own survey: once Gabriel's corner time is over I usually tell him to put his briefs and pants back up. Although sometimes I too still call him over to where I'm sitting and help him to step back into his briefs, pants, pjs etc while we have the last part of our talk.
