Like Mary, when my children were young (or at least when my oldest was a little girl), I had hoped and was thinking it was something she would 'grow out of'. But of course I have long learned that temper tantrums don't just apply to toddlers. My children, or ones under my care, have even thrown tantrums solidly into their teens. As Mary indicated, the children may not be falling on the floor, kicking and screaming tantrums. But wailing "IT'S NOT FAIR!", stomping of feet, slamming of doors and even throwing pillows all apply as a tantrum in my book.

And anytime a child has thrown in a tantrum in this house, it has always been an immediate trip over my lap for a sound and thorough, bare bottom spanking. Whether you are 5 or 15 yrs old.
