Hi I want to introduce myself. I am Janet and I am from the Baltimore area of Maryland. I am the mother of three, two boys and a girl. Their ages are 15 and 13 for the boys and 10 for my youngest daughter. I have been a spanking mom since they were young and continue to spank even though in Maryland spanking does occur and is legal in the family many parents no longer spank their children. I have continued to spank and I’ve met another group of four or five moms that I have been friends with since elementary school and my oldest son and during the course of our discussions we have found that all of us spank and still believe in spanking. Many of our children are friends of each other, and in other occasions I have babysat some of my friends kids. My kids have stayed at their friends house and many of your friends have stayed at my house and as a result they have gotten spankings from me and my kids from their friends moms. As an example over the July 4 weekend we had a sleepover in the backyard and I had six kids that was sleeping in tents in our backyard. I have a large 2 acre backyard so it is easy for them to sleep back there and set up camp. I also have a swimming pool in the backyard which we keep bylaw fenced in. The kids sleeping over we’re all boys and friends and my 13 and 15-year-old so all six of them were between the ages of 12 and 15. There is a heat wave going on in the east and on July 4 it was hot and that about midnight I happened to look out the window and saw six boys jumping in and out of the pool all of them in their underwear. The rule is no swimming without an adult present especially at midnight. I yelled out my bedroom window and told them to get out of the pool and wait for me on the deck. I came down with the paddle ideas which is similar to a Jacari paddle that has some holes in it and told all six of them they were getting spanked. My sons both argued that it was their fault and that they should be the only ones getting spanked and not to spank their friends. I told them everybody had gone into the pool and everybody was getting spanked because everybody knows what the rules are. I then proceeded to give all six of them a very hard spanking. Once I got out with the paddle I told all of them to take the underwear off, and to follow me to the outside patio area near the entrance to the house and had them all stand there while I took one at a time into the basement and paddled each one until their bottom was a deep red and purple and they were crying hysterically. I took them inside since it was midnight I did not want to disturb the neighbors and the basement helps to keep their yells and screaming down to a minimum and not wake up the neighbors. As I finish with one I called another one in and the one that was spanked went out still crying and rubbing his bottom. I think it was a lesson well learned for all six of them.

My question to the moms on this forum do any of you spank any of your children’s friends, have you spanked others that you have babysit for, or spanked other children that were not yours for other reasons. Do you as moms feel that it is OK to spank another child that is not yours. And lastly what do you think about spanking your children or others while there are others around that are not being spanked they can see or hear them getting spanked which may lead to more embarrassment for the child getting spanked. For the moms on here is modesty ever a consideration so that the child is not spanked in front of others especially if the spanking is bare with no pants or underwear.
