Ivana,

You asked why Julian needs to be spanked consistently a couple of times a week. I only spank him when he needs it, but my short answer is: he is a 5 yr old boy.

Longer answer, he truly is a bundle of energy, constantly running. One of the rules is no running in the house and if he wants to run, he needs to take it outside. As you can suspect, he has earned a spanking more than once for breaking that rule. He also loves to do his own thing. As well letting me know at times when he doesn't like something (talking back), even to the point of tantruming. All are each their own recipe for a good spanking.

But Ivana, I just find young children need consistent and frequent spankings. Where each one is a good and proper one, they are still more likely to move on and go back to that naughty behavior more quickly, and in turn, need that reset button hit more quickly, as well. He can come right back a few days later and earn another one.

My own children were much the same way at his age in needing to be spanked that frequently, especially my son. As have been my grandchildren. How were Marek, Jan and Vera at those young ages (4-6 yrs old)? How consistently did you need to spank them?
