I haven't had the attempted escape while over my lap, but.

Once when my Joseph was 8 almost 9 I don’t remember what happened but I had called to him telling him “that is it I am going to spank you,” When I got to his room and he was hiding under his bed and would not come out, I had to hunch down on my knees reach for him and drag him out from under his bed, this made me angry, not a good choice. I sat on his bed quickly took his shorts and underpants down and he was just as quick over my lap and in place and he received his longest and hardest spanking to that point, I was still just spanking with only my hand but the boy came off my lap with a very crimson red and sore bottom with finger marks, he never did that again.
