I apologize on my delayed response. I got back yesterday evening, but really haven't had a lot of time to write a proper reply.

I think you know by now that when I spank, I feel the spanking always needs to be a good, sound and thorough one. They are not only needed, but work extremely well, in setting not only wayward young men (boys) straight, but young ladies, as well. Thank you for your support on the spankings for both Derek and Andy. I agree, they were well needed and deserved for both boys.

Mark, where I haven't spanked Derek with anywhere near the same frequency I have with Andy, I have been spanking him for almost as long, so he has certainly received his share of trips over my lap over the years. I haven't spanked him as often these last couple of years until somewhat recently due to everything going on with COVID. But he has been coming around more often lately, so I am sure his time over my lap will also need to become more frequent, as well (much to his dismay).

The hairbrush spankings for both boys were 'excruciatingly painful', as were their hand spankings. Both as intended. I have indicated before that I have always felt that a good and proper spanking is one that should not just hurt, but hurt a lot. And it is something I make sure of every time I spank. It sends the message to the brain the most effectively as well as they are receiving the appropriate punishment for their naughty behavior.

They haven't needed spankings since their trips over my lap about 2 1/2 weeks ago. But as I indicated in another post, Andy has been giving a bit more backtalk and arguing with his mom at home this past week. So we will see what happens when I need to start sitting for him this coming Monday. It may not be long where that reset button needs to be hit again.
