Pam,

You have told me about the misadventures of Cole and Max more than once already in our correspondence with one another. They sound like normal 12 and 13 yr old boys that love to get physical and roughhouse. But the spankings were well deserved, even if it ended differently and they hadn't broken the lamp. They knew better that wrestling in the house like that is not allowed, period, and disobeying you is in itself enough to earn a good spanking.

I always had the same rule with my son, his friends and my nephews. And the same now for Andy and his friends. No roughhousing inside 'at all', even in their bedroom. Not only can things get broken (like the lamp in your situation), but it is easier for them to get hurt, as well. I always have told them if they want to wrestle (and all boys do!), then they need to take it outside. But there have been a number of times over the years where I have given the boys spankings for breaking that rule.

It sounds like both Max and Cole received the sound spankings they needed. And I can understand the appreciation of that round bottom bouncing over your lap. As I said in Laura's thread about spanking different sized bottoms, I have spanked my share of round, bubble bottoms that bounce and wobble while I spank. It really is darling. :)

But I am sure those spankings will be a excellent reminder for Max and Cole for a good while.
