Yes, when they realized I was going to spank I would also hear "I was just going to do it" or "Ok Ok I'll do it now". But it was too late.

Or as I was telling Sarah, I have always disliked hearing them say "I forgot" yet they could remember entire lines from their favorite movies or how to play their video games and remember things 'they' want to. Or I would hear “I didn't hear you” when I know perfectly well they did.

And their answers at times were accompanied with an indifferent shoulder shrug or at times just the shoulder shrug, when I see and hear that, I can’t wait to spank.

My boys loved Harry Potter as well, mostly the movies, I wish they had enjoyed reading more, at times I used to think there was an 'invisibility cloak' over their dirty clothes hamper in their room or the washing machine as their dirty clothes would be on the floor around it but not in it and they knew that was unacceptable. They were spanked for this when they 'forgot' dirty clothes don't belong under their bed or thrown on the floor.
