I started using bare bottom corner time before and after I spank back in 2017 after coming to Mary’s forum due to Danielle and Sarah's influence and example. First I bare them for their spanking and that is bare from the waist down. I use 15 minutes of corner time before I spank and if time dictates 15 after. Before to give them some time to think about why they are in this position, what they did and the spanking they are about to get. After, to "reflect" on everything that just transpired. I will sit on their lower bunk bed and wait, admiring the bottom/s that I will soon spank.

My boys get time to dance and rub their bottom before hand then once in the corner no rubbing, once they served their time they can rub all they wish. I only use corner time when I spank.
