Have your ever had to say to the one over your knee "Move your hand!!." (From blocking their bottom) If the hand was not moved what happened? What about controlling their body over your knee, how do you go about that?

Whenever I spank mine, they always try to protect their bottom with their hand, even before I start spanking. I smack the the thigh telling them to move their hand or I will spank extra they will then try to hold a pillow or the couch cushion. How do you deal with it? Do you punish for that extra? I was wondering what the thoughts are here from others on this.

If you would please, I am wondering how do you, did you, manage to convince pre-teens and teens to submit to a spanking, get them over your knee, and how do you keep them there once they begin to feel pain that brings tears. What if they won’t go over, fight you. Being the mom of a 12 yo girl as well as a 10 year old boy, I never had trouble with my two, they always submitted to their spankings I think out of respect, minding me and fear what would happen if they did.
