Hi Joy,

Once I have given them swats (and the associated spanking warning), they are on very thin ice so any continued misbehavior will earn a spanking. This is true for the day(s) following the warning as well.

For example, if one of my daughters is backtalking, and I give her swats and a warning to stop backtalking, it would be in her best interest to 1) Immediately stop backtalking and 2) Not backtalk to me in the near future.

If she fails to either of the above, she is at a very high risk of being spanked especially if the backtalk doesn't immediately stop after the warning/swats.

Hope this makes sense.
