I hadn’t really considered corner time for older children before finding this forum because of my own upbringing. I had always associated a “time out” with being more of an appropriate punishment for younger children but I can definitely see why it would be effective at any age. Do you ever get any complaints from your girls about being “too old” to go to the corner? And I actually remember reading in your other posts about the incidents you mentioned this summer involving your 20 year old when it came to her arguing about bed time and then forgetting to get the groceries. But I don’t recall that what you wrote about your 22 year old, what happened with her this summer that called for corner time?
