The reasons for spanking are manifold, but some are more prevalent than others. By no means a definitive list here, and I have decided to omit really serious stuff like vandalism, violence to others, drugs etc.
Rudeness/bad manners/backchat etc.
Chores not done
Bedtime rules not observed
Safety issues – e.g. not wearing bike helmet, swimming without adult present etc.
Not doing homework on time (or at all)
Being disruptive at school
Bad school reports/grades
Your mission, Spanking Moms, should you choose to accept it, is to give percentages of spankings given to sons and/or daughters for items on the list (or indeed, your own additions to my suggestions). Perhaps a breakdown for both home and school?
I appreciate the numbers of spankings can fluctuate for different age groupings, but for simplicity's sake, shall we just say, 7 upwards?
Anyone whose percentages do not add up to a 100 will be spanked, of course. I mean, we as parents, should maintain standards, and set an example!
