With my boys I have never just gone by their grades but the effort they put in, or didn’t put in. Donny has always been basically a C student with the occasional B, he works hard for that C as school is hard for him but I've told him I'm ok with the C as long as he is doing his best.

Scott is a brain and school has always been easy for him he is an A-B student, but can get lazy too. Donny's best subject has been math that's where he gets his occasional B and he gets so happy about that. Bobby when he was in grade school he hated it with a passion, it was a constant struggle with him and his effort and school in general earning many a school related spanking, it got a little better in Jr. high.

These past two school years March - June 2020, then the following school year where schools opened and closed a couple times before being shut I believe in November then opened back up the beginning of this past May through June 20 something. So, with the vast majority of it taking place here in my house with the shut downs and on line virtual schooling, I was able to see first hand right away the effort they did or didn’t put in and there were many spankings for not putting in the effort, both with my boys as well as their 3 best friends who were here doing their school work as well.
