I have long come to accept that children do not think logically a lot of times. It is part of our job to teach them to do so, and eventually it does stick, but when they are still (early to mid) teens whatever is on their mind at the time, they will blurt out, however illogical it may be and get them into trouble.
But I have found, much like you needed to do with Vera, a good, sound and proper spanking will always set things right, at least for a short while. Good for you on the spanking you administered to Vera, it was so necessary and deserved, Ivana. She needed to know she 'cannot' ignore her chores and especially talk to Mommy that way, it will earn her a long and thorough spanking each and every time.
I am glad your new brush paddle worked out exactly the way you wanted, it sounds like she received the long and hard spanking she absolutely needed. I do know exactly what you mean about that complete satisfaction when giving the child the spanking you intended, and hear the response you are looking for. Satisfaction of a job well done, that they received their deserved punishment and seeing how the spanking has changed their behavior for the good. At least until it is needed again.
