Originally the plan was not having me babysit Andy in the day during the summer. With him being 15 now, Diane (his mother) felt he was old enough to be home alone while she was at work. But the issue was she didn't want him to have friends over in the day for so long while she wasn't home. Instead of trying to arrange Andy to come here with his friends (which I'm not close for a boy that needs to walk or bike), it was just easier to have me babysit him.

Besides, I feel it is better this way, anyways. Where I understand Diane is coming from in wanting to give Andy more responsibility due to his age, I don't think he is quite ready yet because, as I've mentioned before, he acts more like a boy a year or two younger than himself, so I feel more comfortable with him still being supervised.

But if you asked Andy, he will insist he decided to come over here instead because he likes to see me and everyone else as well as being able to 'hang out' with his friends in the day. Not be "babysat", which he says he is too old for. I just smile and say "Ok, sweetheart. And don't remind him of the babysitting I also need (and want) to do for him when his mother travels for work. :) Either way, we are all happy he is here for each day as he is very much part of the family.

Oh yes, I often extend his name when he is getting in trouble or is already there. "Andrew, I think it is wise that you stop right now." "Andrew Steven, you are a hairsbreadth away from a spanking." And if I have to say all three (first, middle and last name), a spanking is imminent for him.

Candace, I can't right now, but I will share with the group on Andy's spanking and mouth soaping this past Wednesday. I will post about it in the "Sharing our most recent spanking or spankings" thread. It's not the most recent spanking I've had to administer, but it's a good place for it. I will try to get to that relatively soon.
