Thank you for all this advise, this morning as I was showering I lathered up my wash cloth and went through a little of the motions of what it would be like to wash a mouth out like you and Mary do, I read where she does it just like you. I am definitely going to do it that way from now on along with the bare swats. I will post about it whenI do.

I may have worded that wrong the 14 year old is my oldest boy at 14. I know what is it with boys and picking up their clothes/cleaning their room? But it does give us cause to spank. My daughter is my oldest, she turned 18 in March and she just last month earned her first spanking in 11 months. I had been thinking I would not need to spank her again. Then that week I was thinking she was getting close to being spanked, she had been pushing my buttons and maybe I should have spanked her the day before, she was being mouthy and complaining about everything not wanting to help around the house either, wanting more freedom, no curfews, on and on. As you can guess she ended up over my lap for a long spanking.

She has pretty much always liked her room and kept it looking nice I would say since she was 12? She hasn't been spanked for not straightening their room or cleaning it.
