Jesse,

Like most boys, and children in general, Andy has a lot of energy. He most certainly exhibits that energy while I spank him over my lap. His legs, and arms, kicking and flailing frantically every which way. He will often grip a couch pillow in one or both of his hands, sometimes burying into into his face while he bawls or sometimes slamming the pillow into the couch cushion in front of him or the back of the couch.

I know all of it is a reflexive reaction due to how much his spanking hurts. And he is hoping, in any sort of way, that his animated reaction (and desperate pleading/wailing) will somehow cause Mommy to stop, or at least alleviate, the rapid and hard swatting of her hand, or the steady to rapid smacking of her brush. Of course it never does, I continue to spank as soundly and thoroughly as he needs, until I am satisfied he has been punished sufficiently. And really, as I've said before, I feel all of these reactions and responses are normal. They are going to happen from a good and proper spanking being administered and something I 'want' to see. They let me know the spanking is affecting him like it should be and my message is being received. I am sure your Aunt Heather felt the same way, Jesse.

Once Andy's spanking, and his cornertime is over, he has as much time as he wants, and needs, to recover.
