I was so happy to see your post, and even more overjoyed to hear about your breast cancer. That is so wonderful!

I'm not sure how challenging it was for you, but it was difficult when I finally had that 'empty nest'. When my youngest went off to college, the last of my four children, I most certainly cried.

But my youngest has now just graduated from college (Bachelor of Nursing) and will be staying at home for a bit while she saves some money. Mom is of course ecstatic to have her back. :)

It sounds like you don't really have an empty nest though with your nephews and the new foster child, Theo. That is wonderful. Now I know you have spanked your nephews, and I assume it is still an option for them, but are you able to do so for Theo? In the US, I have never fostered a child (only adopted), but spanking would be much more challenging to do here. How does it work in Australia?

Again, it is really great to see you Margaret and look forward to seeing your contributions. :)
